Operating under the umbrella of the Session’s Mission and Outreach Committee, the Justice Committee’s purpose is to inform the congregation about justice issues of a global, national or local nature and, where applicable, to suggest avenues of possible action.   • KAIROS, formerly the Ecumenical Justice Committee, is in Canada, comprised of members from the major religions and their denominations.


Why Have a Congregational Justice Committee?

Knowledge is power.

One person can make a difference.


Perhaps the most powerful reason can best be summed up by quoting Edmund Burke, the 18th century Irish statesman and philosopher:
