We are a group of congregational members who meet to discuss and act upon issues of human rights and justice. We have a bulletin board in the hallway of the Fellowship Hall which highlights current issues and areas of concern and interest. |

Special Activities: |
We spent the majority of 2003/04 looking at issues involving aboriginal peoples in Canada. In April 24, 2004 we hosted a workshop on "Aboriginal Issues in Canada" with guest speaker Ed Bianchi, KAIROS Program Coordinator, Aboriginal Rights.
We also participated in the Agenda for Just Peace postcard campaign.
In February 2004 we promoted Fair Trade. |

Recent Events:

The Justice Group, in 2005-2006, will be participating in The Water Declaration, as endorsed by the 131st Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Canada. This will be a campaign of education and action on water-related issues including the importance of recognizing water as a human right. |
